Unlock the Key

Thinking of  thee,
Strong degrees of  fidelity,
Lost Knight of  forever's chivalry.
-
Beckoning to ye,
Chorus of mystery,
At peace with everything,  reverently.
-
Bowing to thy,
Wisdom & heart  willingly,
Waiting has been  done, patiently.
-
Unlock the key,
Decrypt thine heavenly,
Solve the riddle-  devisively.
-
Find  thy treasury
Glittering  gold, bounty
Merited for  you, divinely

Remembering

Walking upon the  sea,
Wrapped up in its subtle  purity,
Feeling it coursing through  me,
Mind rich, full of nature's  energy.
An infinite moment  ago,
Feeling her secrets, I  know.
Within her blue watery  shadows,
A welkin of pure souls,  crashes, bellows.
Shores, beginning & end  alone,
Lost, sitting upon a  throne,
Lights in the sand, yet  shone,
Drift now, towards home.
Looking to the window,
Remembering, leaving the even  flow,
Heartbeats, felt as one,  bestowed.
Love waits there, as it grows.

Reflections

Night Everywhere,
Out  of my element.
Sweet dreams,
Take me with you.
Passion sleeps,
Felt- no fire, no  ice.
Lingering here,
Eratos has long  died.
Warm inflections,
Minds, closed too  tight.
Beautiful reactions,
Idle as a lake of  glass.
Echoed desperation,
Go risk, another  glance.
Mirrored Impressions,
Captured, Images of Mist.

Dancing Flames

Songs are strummed to the lull of dancing  flames.
Time transfixes to the flavor of  enchantment,
As campfire guitars sing a lullaby by the  sun.
Melodies are plucked one by one, before the voices  have begun.
Images are soon brought all to near, into  the music of yellow light.
Those circled round, join in, with hearkening  ears.
To hear old bard's tales from  yesteryear,
Speaking in natures ripe  mysteries,
Glimpses of old wives tales, myths of the long  forgotten gods,
Become the voices of souls, given their  due.
Time, then lurks to the wee hours of  dawn.
Before red embers are left too  long,
Audience of night, trapped, captivated by lyrical  song.

In May of 2005, I graduated  from the University of Illinois at Springfield with a Bachelors Degree in Communication. I have always enjoyed writing. It seems that the mind is a  gateway to another realm, and if I can capture that essence and  transfix the reader, then my goal has been met.
