| Remembering You I want to remember you then and now and in doing so, place a lock of your wavy, black hair in a special jar kept on my bureau. I want to remember you, always and forever and in doing so, I'll keep your scented shirt close by, tucked neatly in my private drawer; I'll keep it as if it were a sachet-of-sorts, lightly scenting my lacy things delicately airy, but most of all, retaining memories of you I hold close to my heart. I want to remember you, for as long as I'm here, standing on earth, and in doing so, I'll keep all my favorite photos stashed in albums I can reach or in my wallet for safe keeping. I doubt I'll ever forget what you looked like, your facial expressions, your sinewy build, your eyes with that special "boyish-look" that certain look I'll never forget of innocence only known between you and I. I want to remember you as much as I can, and in doing so, I'll sit in the ' men's room ', that special room you created for you and your friends. I'll sit there one day, smoke your Corona, drink your dark ale reflecting upon all we've been through, the best and worst times, yet never to be forgotten. I want to remember you, for as long as we both shall live, wherever we land in our aging cycles and in doing so, I'll reserve the thought of you in all seasons of life, in all kinds of weather, the harmony of our marriage, the laughter in your voice, the anticipation in your eyes, everything about you.... I'll keep close by.
