   Sun Rise

  Snow falls
  We're on our knees
  Your spirit calls
  Wanting to please

The heat you sense in me
  With eyes big and brown
  Under gray skies
  I rise from the ground

  Slipping into your smile
  Gentle gusts of wind
  Whisper in the air
  This is destined

  Straying from the cave
  I stay with the light
  Each motion loosens
  Lightning into our night

  The sun we don't see
  Is beneath my chest
  Making you wet
  Even as snowflakes
  Melt on your breasts

  I'm held in your palm
  As the coming dawn
  Races time through night
  Stars twinkle to light
  Clouds part in space

  And we lie
  With a quickening pace
  Locked in our eyes
  A tightening embrace
As we see the sun rise…

   Dancing Moon

I put my trust in her.
All of the passion and hunger of my soul
  Is in the faith I give into her;
Releasing until she is full and whole.

  Feeling our distance at night—
  Drinking light from afar—
  Reaching into our next glance—
Seeing and feeling her behold my star—

  I see the girlish twinkle in her eye;
The optimism in her shine and bouncy step
Ignites a fire that burns and yearns to share with her
Until there is just us left…

With the ecstasy of a scream,
With the comfort of an embrace,
  Within this dream I dance
  With the Moon in outerspace—

  Fire & Ice

Sometimes the world feels cold as ice
  Sometimes people replace nice
  With being callous
  When over zealous
This can feel like crashing into an ice berg
Embarrassed can’t find the right words.  Then birds
  Fly in formations
  Just to represent the exclamation
Of life and the glory of living
Fueling a fire that is just too giving
Shadows and spirits haunt the select few
Deep into the night, and within, until nothing is new
The world crashes into the mundane
One questions how sane is sane
And society is too much to bear
Holding on to dear life to those few who care
Those who may, or must, know.  To confide
Balances somewhat the inner self with the outside
  Spinning
Gotten to the end of the fire and ice ride
  Remembering the Beginning
Wondering how much of it was just inside—
